Medior PHP Developer

For our continuous development of energy trading and risk management software we are looking for a talented and enthusiastic PHP software developer

Functieomschrijving

Our software is based on web technology, combined with compiled components for specialized calculations. We provide it as a hosted service, as well as installing locally for clients. Our clients are mostly large international companies, in the energy, chemicals or food industry. Our international team consists of 11 analysts/developers, of which 6 mainly program with PHP. Almost all developers work from our Haarlem office.

Tasks include:
- defining new functionality with our team of quantitative analysts and consultants
- turning these requirements into front-end and back-end code using web standards and PHP
- creating code around the product: automating tasks, improving deployment procedures (dev-ops)
- providing technical customer support

Gevraagd wordt

- PHP developer with at least 3 years (medior) or 6 years (senior) experience
- also able to work efficiently with SQL, HTML, jQuery, Javascript
- familiar with frameworks
- very practical attitude: transform functional requirements into robust and user-friendly system
- responsible and hands-on mentality
- good communication skills with colleagues and clients
- ability to manage high level structure as well as writing detailed code
- bachelor or master's degree
